IV Vitamin Therapy

What are Vitamin Drips or IV Vitamin Therapy?

Vitamin drips are a type of treatment where patients receive intravenous (IV) fluids directly into the bloodstream and can be combined with high concentrations of liquid vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and/or amino acids. An IV is a route of administration where a catheter is inserted directly into the vein. IV vitamin therapy is administered by a nurse or other qualified healthcare professional. Unlike oral supplements, which must pass through the digestive system and may lose up to 50-80% of their potency during absorption, IV vitamin therapy delivers nutrients directly to your cells with essentially 100% bioavailability. This means your body can immediately utilize every milligram of vitamins and minerals being administered.

What results can I expect with IV Vitamin Therapy?

Many patients notice an increase in energy levels and overall health-enhancing boost. When combined with a healthy lifestyle, appropriate vitamin and mineral levels through vitamin drips can promote optimal metabolism, cortisol levels, cellular health, mood, and sleep patterns. Results can vary based on your baseline nutritional status, hydration levels, and overall health. Some patients feel the effects almost immediately — particularly with hydration and energy infusions — while others notice cumulative benefits over a series of treatments. Many of our regular patients report sustained improvements in energy, immunity, skin quality, and overall well-being.

Why can I not just take supplements?

Taking supplements by mouth requires absorption by your digestive tract, which for many individuals does not absorb vitamins very well. Factors like age, gut health, medications, and the quality of the supplement itself can all affect how much of an oral vitamin actually reaches your bloodstream. IV vitamin therapy bypasses the digestive tract entirely, delivering nutrients directly into your bloodstream for immediate, 100% absorption. This is particularly important for patients with digestive issues, malabsorption conditions, or those who need higher therapeutic doses that simply aren't achievable through oral supplementation.

Treatment Experience

Do Vitamin Drips hurt?

IV administration uses small needles and, in some cases, very small, localized numbing agents to minimize any type of pain. Everyone has a different pain threshold, with some patients finding IV vitamin therapy painless, whereas others feel a slight discomfort with the needle insertion. However, most people find the vitamin infusion quite calming and relaxing. Our experienced clinical team is skilled at finding the best vein for insertion and making the process as comfortable as possible. Once the IV is placed, you can relax, read, work on your phone, or simply close your eyes and rest during your infusion.

How long do Vitamin Infusions last?

The infusion time will range from 30 minutes to a couple of hours for more specialized infusions such as NAD+. The typical amount of time for most drips is 30 minutes for 500 mL and one hour for 1,000 mL. During your infusion, you're welcome to relax in our comfortable treatment area, use your phone or laptop, read, or simply rest. Many patients find the experience so relaxing that they use it as a chance to decompress from their busy schedules. We recommend allowing a little extra time for your first visit so we can complete your intake assessment and answer any questions.

How often should I get a Vitamin Drip?

Every person is different, so it depends on your baseline status and nutritional needs. Some people see dramatic effects even after the first IV treatment. Based on your needs, you may choose to get IV treatments weekly or multiple times per month. Our Nurse Practitioner can recommend an optimal treatment schedule based on your health goals, lifestyle, and individual response. Many of our regular patients come in bi-weekly or monthly for maintenance infusions, while others opt for weekly treatments during periods of high stress, illness, or intense physical activity.

Can I get IV Hydration remotely?

Absolutely! We can prepare and ship products and supplies so you can get IV hydration at a location outside our center. We will also coordinate for an infusion nurse to administer the infusions at your home, office, hotel, or event venue. There will be an added fee for the concierge service. This mobile IV service is perfect for parties, corporate wellness events, pre-wedding preparations, post-travel recovery, or simply for those who prefer the convenience of receiving treatment in a familiar environment. Safety & Benefits

Are IV Hydration and Vitamin Drips good for you?

There are many benefits from IV hydration and vitamin therapy, including enhanced mental clarity, boosting immune system function against viruses and the flu, and even clearer skin. Some formulations are also designed to promote fat burning, combatting jet lag, and even helping to relieve hangovers. Regular IV vitamin therapy can also help address nutritional deficiencies that many people don't even realize they have. Modern diets, stress, medications, and environmental factors can all deplete essential vitamins and minerals, and IV therapy provides a direct, efficient way to replenish these vital nutrients.

Is IV Vitamin Therapy safe?

Yes, IV hydration and vitamin drips are very safe because they are provided and administered by a licensed practitioner. The clinic is overseen by a physician's Medical Director. We only use high-quality ingredients and source our vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants from certified suppliers. Before your first infusion, we review your medical history, current medications, and any allergies to ensure the treatment is appropriate for you. Our clinical team monitors you throughout your infusion to ensure your comfort and safety. Adverse reactions are extremely rare, and our team is trained to handle any situation that may arise.
