Wellness IV Bar

Have Questions? We Have Answers!

Vitamin drips are a type of treatment where patients receive intravenous (IV) fluids directly into the bloodstream and can be combined with high concentrations of liquid vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and/or amino acids. An IV is a route of administration where a catheter is inserted directly into the vein. IV vitamin therapy is administered by a nurse or other qualified healthcare professional.
IV administration uses small needles and, in some cases, very small, localized numbing agents to minimize any type of pain. Everyone has a different pain threshold, with some patients finding IV vitamin therapy painless, whereas others feel a slight discomfort with the needle insertion. However, most people find the vitamin infusion quite calming and relaxing, and some feel some warmth as certain nutrients enter the bloodstream.
There are many benefits from IV hydration and vitamin therapy, including enhanced mental clarity, boosting immune system function against viruses and the flu, and even clearer skin. Some formulations are also designed to promote fat burning, combatting jet lag, and even helping to relieve hangovers.

Many patients notice an increase in energy levels and overall health-enhancing boost. When combined with a healthy lifestyle, appropriate vitamin and mineral levels through vitamin drips can promote optimal metabolism, cortisol (stress hormone) levels, cellular health, mood, and sleep patterns. Vitamin therapy may also boost your immune system and can be helpful during seasonal fluctuations or during allergy season.

Yes, IV hydration and vitamin drips are very safe because it is provided and administered by a licensed practitioner. The clinic is overseen by a physician’s Medical Director. We only use high-quality ingredients and source our vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants from certified suppliers. Lastly, IV vitamin therapy has been used and available for over 50 years, with the first instance of its use by Dr. John Myers and his infamous Myer’s cocktail.

IV hydration and vitamin drips can be beneficial for a variety of individuals.  Wellness IV Bar is a supportive therapeutic health and wellness service. We are not a medical treatment center and do not treat or diagnose health issues. If you have a major health condition please consult with your doctor before obtaining IV hydration or vitamin services.

Cost: The pricing can vary depending on the type of drip you select. Basic drips for rehydration can start as low as $80. Performance and recovery drips can cost more because of the specialized vitamins, amino acids, and minerals that are added to the hydration solution. These drips can range between $120 and $180. Our premium drip includes an expert-formulated blend of vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, and amino acids to help promote the ultimate wellness package and costs upwards of $200.

The infusion time will also range from half an hour (30 minutes) to a couple of hours for more specialized infusions such as NAD+. The typical amount of time for most of our drips is 30 minutes for 500 mL and one hour for 1,000 mL.

Depending on the type of infusion, and your activity level, the vitamins you receive intravenously can stay in your system for a few days or a few weeks. We have indicated a recommended interval to receive each drip in order to keep vitamins at an optimal level to promote wellness and performance.

Every person is different, so it would depend on your baseline status and your body’s nutritional needs. Some people see dramatic effects even after the first IV treatment. People who receive regular infusions may feel less dramatic effects as their body starts to obtain an optimal hydration status and nutritional balance. Based on your body’s needs, you may choose to get IV treatments weekly or multiple times per month.

Taking supplements by mouth requires absorption by your digestive tract. The digestive tract for many individuals do not absorb vitamins very well or have limited capacity to absorb vitamins, resulting in getting suboptimal dosages. For patients with chronic, complex issues such as Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, or irritable bowel disease (IBD), it may be more beneficial to bypass the digestive tract and get vitamins and minerals infused directly into the bloodstream for higher absorption in the body.

We offer a selection of vitamin drips to tackle the most common health and wellness challenges. Whether you are feeling down from a cold, combating a migraine, fighting jet lag, suffering from a hangover, or just trying to overcome low energy, IV vitamin drips can be a fast and efficient way to address your symptoms and get you back to feeling your best.

Vitamin C is an essential water-soluble vitamin, also known as ascorbic acid. The oxidative functions of high dose Vitamin C have been researched extensively to show positive, protective benefits against active viruses, coronary heart disease, strokes, cataracts, gout, heavy metal toxicities like lead, as well as could provide protection against certain cancers.

Cancer patients experience vitamin C deficiency associated with decreased oral intake, infection, inflammation, disease processes, and treatments such as radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery. Studies demonstrate associations between IVC and inflammation biomarkers and propose some amelioration in symptoms, with a possible advantage in a better quality of life and fewer side effects than those who did not.
